EDUC 570 – The Reflective Educator – Fall 2014

Through course readings, discussions, and individual research, my learning objectives were to:

• Develop a personal philosophy about education that is grounded in my experiences with schooling both past and present
• Articulate my current interests in education
• Develop knowledge about the philosophical, theoretical, and historical foundations of education
• Gain awareness about the wide range of issues in 21^st century education
• Discuss educational issues from an informed position
• Research a topic of interest and present information to class
